The delhi metro on thursday launched free high-speed wi-fi services in delhi metro coaches on its airport express line,the first such facility in any country in the south asian region,official said.
The people of Delhi will be able to locate a Wi-Fi connection after every 500 metres, with the hotspot connections supporting a radius of 100 metres. Every user will get free 15 GB data per month, with a data limit of 1.5 GB per day. On an average, the maximum speed of the connection will be 200 Mbps, but the estimated speed will be between 100 and 150 Mbps,” he said.

WiFi facility,with 2 Mbps speed inside Delhi metro coaches on the airport
line was launched by DMRC chief mangu Singh in a running a
Delhi metro on the airport express line.Next year, Delhi metro started
free high-speed Wi-Fi service at all 50 station of its blue line service.
"At
present underground metro train WiFi facility is available in Russia,
South Korea and China. this is the first such facility in India the
south Asian region," a senior official said.
